Android align button bottom relativelayout
I'm trying to align a button to the bottom right and bottom left of my screen, using a RelativeLayout . I want to do this to keep the same relative layout across different screen sizes. Currently, the buttons on my screen move up/down depending on the resolution of the screen. 320x480 puts the buttons higher on the screen versus 480x800.

If you have a relative layout that fills the whole screen you should be able to use android:layout_alignParentBottomto move the button to the bottom of the screen. If your views at the bottom are not shown in a relative layout then maybe the layout above it takes all the space.

Actually it's possible, despite what's being said in other answers. If you have a FrameLayout, and want to position a child item to the bottom , you can use android:layout_gravity="bottom" and that is going to align that child to the bottom of the FrameLayout. I know it works because I'm using it.
